The student ministry at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church is called “The Bridge.” This name shows that our main purpose is to bridge the gap between lost people and Jesus Christ. We exist to INFILTRATE our world with the Gospel message and to lead the lost to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ; to INFUSE biblical principles into the lives of students; to INVEST in the lives of others; to IMPART praise, honor, thanks and adoration to God; and for our lives to be INVOLVED with other believers and the church as a whole.
This statement reflects the 5 purposes of ministry: evangelism (infiltrating our world); discipleship (imparting biblical principles); ministry (investing in the lives of others); worship (imparting praises to God); fellowship (being involved with other believers).
